HOW TO CONVERT TYPE TO OUTLINES IN
ILLUSTRATOR & PHOTOSHOP
Font outline information comes from the actual font files installed on your system. When you create outlines from type, characters are converted in their current positions; they retain all graphics formatting such as their stroke and fill. Select the type object.
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe Photoshop
PSD, AI, EPS (at least 300 dpi/ppi)
HOW TO FLATTEN YOUR LAYERS IN PHOTOSHOP
  • All images within your artwork file should be embedded or placed.
  • To optimize your PSD file for size, please flatten your image.
  • Please be advised to convert all type to outlines in your AI/EPS artwork files.
  • Artwork should be created in CMYK color.
Flattening reduces file size by merging all visible layers into the background and discarding hidden layers. Any transparent areas that remain are filled with white. When you save a flattened image, you cannot revert back to the unflattened state, as the layers are permanently merged.

Note:Converting an image between some color modes flattens the file. Save a copy of your file with all layers intact if you want to edit the original image after the conversion.
  • Choose Layer > Flatten Image, or choose Flatten Image from the Layers panel menu.
  • Make sure that all the layers you want to keep are visible

GENERAL INFORMATION
Before sending us artwork please make sure you double check your file for spelling, grammar, colors, alignment and image resolution. Artwork must be in digital format, and should be the same as it is to be printed. Files should be at least 300 dpi,CMYK, Photoshop or an outlined Illustrator file.

Please Note: Increasing the resolution of an image that is already at a low DPI will not create a larger, crisper and cleaner image. The image needs to be originally shot at a high resolution.
